Wineport Lodge was host for many series to The Restaurant Show both on RTE and TV3

Celebrities who have donned the aprons at Wineport Lodge for this popular TV series The Restaurant include the late and great Tony Fenton, former Justice Minister Alan Shatter, entrepreneur Jackie Lavin, Irish rugby player Andrew Trimble, State Pathologist Marie Cassidy, model Roz Purcell, singer Sharon Shannon, publisher and entrepreneur Norah Casey, broadcaster Ray d'Arcy, journalist Fintan O' Toole, Amanda Brunker, and DJ Ruth Scott.

Each created a menu to impress resident food critics Tom Doorley and the late Paolo Tullio along with a guest critic each week.
